Hi, I’m Radiance Satterfield. I lead spiritually-based spiritual retreats for women that are designed to support deep healing, growth, and transformation. With over 20 years of study in Unity Principles, I guide each experience with a strong spiritual foundation rooted in truth, affirmative prayer, and the development of the 12 Powers.

I am also the author of The Goddess Tribe and Affirmations from the Goddess Tribe, and a Reiki Master. I weave together Unity teachings, sacred ritual, Reiki, and Divine Feminine wisdom to create immersive, restorative retreat experiences that nurture the soul and awaken the divine within.

Unity's 5 Basic Principles

    1. God is everywhere and always present in every circumstance. This divine energy underlies and animates all of existence.
    2. Human beings are innately good because they are connected to and an expression of Spirit.
    3. Our thoughts have creative power to influence events and determine our experiences.
    4. Prayer and meditation connect and align us to our own spiritual nature within God.
    5. It is not enough to understand spiritual teachings. We must apply our learning in all areas of life, incorporating them into our thoughts, words, and actions.

    Unity uses “affirmative prayer.” Rather than begging or beseeching God, this method involves connecting with the spirit of God within and asserting positive beliefs about the desired outcome. Affirmative prayer is the same method of prayer Jesus taught when he said, “So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24).

    Unity's 12 Powers

      1. Faith: Perception, conviction, and the ability to see the unseen.
      2. Strength: Stability, endurance, and tenacity.
      3. Judgment (or Wisdom): Intuition, balance, and the capacity to make wise decisions.
      4. Love: The universal harmonizing and healing force.
      5. Power: Mastery, authority, and the ability to influence one’s life.
      6. Imagination: The creative capacity to visualize and bring forth ideas.
      7. Understanding: The ability to comprehend spiritual principles and insights.
      8. Will: The directing, deciding faculty.
      9. Order: The capacity to organize and bring harmony.
      10. Zeal: Enthusiasm, passion, and motivation.
      11. Renunciation (or Release): The ability to let go of what no longer serves.
      12. Life: The divine vitality and animation.
